Young children’s learning can be greatly enriched if parents spend even 30 minutes of quality time conducting well planned educational activities with their children!

The Pahili Payari (Marathi) and First Step (English) initiatives will include courses for parents on various activities they can conduct with their preschool children, on language and mathematics.

Children’s education is an ongoing process. Kids are constantly learning, whether they are at home, in the garden, at the market, at the station, or at relatives’ houses. In fact, children in preschool spend less time in school and more time outside of it. Therefore, a significant portion of their learning happens outside of school. Play is also a major tool for their education. As parents, we can contribute meaningfully to their learning. However, this requires understanding how to help children learn at home. Various courses that develop this understanding are available through QUEST’s First Step program.
